If I was a boy. . . .

I'd wear Gucci and Mc Queen

What your shopping style?

Just browsing through some of my favourite fashion blogs (namely Rumi’s) I was eyeing up the new spring summer collection for Topshop, when I spotted this gorgeous blazer which looks like it’s constructed from the union jack flag.

I instantly in my head created an outfit, (indigo skinny’s finishing at the ankle, simple vest, one of my many pairs of red shoes or if I had the cash those Mc Queen beauties, topped off with super shiny hair and bright MAC Red lippy)

Which got me thinking, when you shop do you think up outfits in your head knowing what you have at home will go, or do you find yourself with standalone pieces which you’ll eventually buy other pieces to make it work, or do you end up with lots of different pieces that you just chuck on and see how it’ll look?

I've never wanted a Louis V bag, but I am loving the Stephen Sprouse collection

I take back yesterday, today I popped into diesel, 70% off sale woop woop!
Still uninterested in the girlies clothing stuff, i raded menswear for the boy.
Today's purchases included: 2 leather belts, purple cardi, diesel logo t shirt
I will be stealing the cardi as the purple matches my amazing purple ankle boots
and the t shirt will be perfect come the summer with denim cut off shorts.
will post pics soon

The Great Depression

We are well into January, well the ‘January’ sales anyway with many stores displaying ‘further reduction signs’ and I can’t help but feel disappointed.
With all the talk of this credit crunch crisis, we were led to believe the sales would be unbelievable with retailers clawing at customers desperate for anything we were willing to spare.

Yet I’ve found myself with very few purchases.

I’ve not been lazy, I’ve faced the cold, trawled the rails, elbows out but I’ve found nothing.
I’m so uninterested at everything I see, maybe it was my summer working in a department store being surrounded by the same stock, day after day, I’ve grown sick of my favourite high street brands, all saints, diesel, reiss and dare I say Topshop?

I need to get my affordable fashion fix and am completely uninspired by the trickle of spring/summer stock I’ve seen so far
