New in a Topshop
New bits that i love, the rugby sock are awesome, i'm hoping they'll be quite thick and hold up properly so i can wear them with my denim shorts, they are £6
The jersey snood is perfect i've been eyeing up the allsaints one for ages now but was put off buy the £60 price tag and too lazy to make one myself, this one is great at £15 and comes in a range of colours. bound to be a sell out
The denim jacket with sleeve is a nice update for something that is soo pre millenum it's a joke so-so at £40 but it's something you could easily see the fash pack in.
The dress is just pretty and i love the bold colours. £45
Interview with Erin Wasson
What are you wearing today?
This is a really old vintage Fendi coat that I scored at a thrift store in New York, which I love. It's 12 sizes too big so I feel like a bag lady. This top is from a collection I designed for RVCA - it's called "sweetheart of the rodeo". The shoes are from Phi; they're from next season. I emailed the designer Andreas Melbostad and said I've got to have them.
Is this your signature look?
Yes, it's slightly dishevelled. I think a lot of people know me for just wearing cut-off denim shorts, an oversized white T-shirt with a pair of high-heels. I usually do wear basic stuff. Jeans and a white T is my go-to look.
Tell me about an early fashion memory.
I always did the [Alexander] McQueen shows. One season, I was literally a horse. It took about 20 minutes to get into my outfit. I had this huge, long horse mane coming out of my head and this great big metal horse-bit in my mouth. I think I had to be cut out of that. With McQueen, you always felt like you were more than a model.
Extracts taken from the Guardian you can find the rest of the interview here
Blonde sucks
Just why? Bleach strips the life out of your hair, and if it's not done properly (looks a bit orange here) makes you look cheap, why bother?
Points for the one shoulder dress though, and choice of footwear.

Kate Moss for Topshop
It was initially only a 2 year deal, which made Topshop more than £40 million, so it makes business sense to extend the collection by another 3 years.
I have love the previous collections and have bought A LOT of in, including the panther dress! And though there are some stand out pieces in the new collection I'm not in amour anymore

Louis Vuitton Spicy Shoes
The design came about to Marc Jacobs when he was cutting up different fabrics and materials and applying it to the shoe, so technically indecisive mess, every shoe featured in the show was unique and this same principal is being applied to ones available to buy.
I love this idea, I would like to say it justifies the £700 to £2,040, but it doesn’t.

Alice McCall for Topshop
This is the second collection Alice McCall has done for Topshop.
I was working in Bentalls department store when the first collection was launched and came into the Topshop concession, wasn't really taken with the pieces on the hanger and the dresses suited only one figure and most of the collection went straight to sale.
This collection, however, is stunning; the colours are perfect for summer and fabric pattern is very fashion forward.
The collection is only being sold online, which is a shame as I'd like to get a closer look at the construction, fabric and check out the sizing as I often find with Topshop collaboration pieces the sizing varies greatly from regular Topshop clothing. The dresses retail at £65 and the skirt is £38
Summer Bags
They are beautiful eye popping colours, slouchy easy going shape, a mixture of suede and leather, some form of hardware, but the more I think about them and try to describe them, I realised they just aren't me. . . hmm I guess this is the cooling off period i've been told about.

Pot of Gold
It’s a bit on the pricey side, £26 to be exact but each pot contains two leaves of pure 24-carat gold, giving whole to meaning to golden eye.
I’ve got to be honest one of my main reasons for posting is because of the pot, its soo cute.

Oasis Mid Season Sale
Because I'm meant to be spending, anything from the high street is cheap cheerful and not bank breaking so I'm rather chuffed at these random mid season sales.
Scouring the Oasis web site I found this sweet shrunken jacket and waist coat with beading detail, both £15 from £25
I'd team either with a vest, skinny scarf, avaitors, skinnys or shorts with gladiator sandals
Halloween Inspiration
The use of colour is beautiful and reminds me of water colours, cartoons and war paint
The hair is very donnie darko rabbit

Sexy Choo's
To me this ad is the right side of sexy and provocative without being crass, take note Tom Ford.
Don't get me wrong I love Tom Ford and the tactics he uses in his ad campaigns, but the ones which feature a full frontal willy was crossing a line, it was tasteless and has now left him with nowhere to go. . .
. . . so much so I can't even post to pictures here, to see what I'm cringing out please see this link from Gawker.
Please note these ads really are NOT suitable for work.
